Mahd wins gold medal at Ramadan Championships – Saudi News

At the 2026 Mahad Ramadan Football Championship held from February 26 to 28, Al Ittifaq team won the U-14 category, while two teams from Mahad Academy won the U-13 and 12-year-old categories. Four teams participated in the tournament: Mahad Sports Academy, Al Qadisiya Club, Al Ittifaq Club and Al Nasr Club. Three age categories: under 14, under 13, and under 12.

The tournament was held in a one-round league format, with teams competing for the top spot in their respective categories, with outstanding skill levels reflecting the quality of grassroots work and growing interest in Sunni talent development in the Kingdom.

The tournament witnessed a Ramadan atmosphere that fostered competitive spirit and discipline among the players, as well as a technical and organizational presence that reflected Mahad Academy’s professionalism in organizing sporting events.

The Mahad Ramadan Championship is part of the Academy’s program aimed at providing a high-quality competitive environment that will hone talent and contribute to the development of a promising sports generation who can represent the country in various forums in the future.

Al Etifaq team won the under-14 category of the 2026 Mahad Ramadan Football Championship held from February 26 to 28, while Mahad Academy’s team won the under-13 and under-12 categories. Four teams participated in the tournament: Mahad Sports Academy, Al Qadsia Club, Al Etifaq Club, and Al Nasr Club in three age categories: 14 years old, under 13 years old, under 12 years old.

The tournament was held in a round-robin format, with teams competing to be the best in their respective categories, displaying an impressive level of skill that reflects the quality of grassroots work and growing interest in developing youth talent in the Kingdom.

The championship witnessed a level of technical and organizational presence that reflected Mahad Academy’s professionalism in organizing sporting events, along with a Ramadan atmosphere that enhanced the spirit of competition and discipline among the players.

The Mahad Ramadan Championship is part of the Academy’s program aimed at providing a high-quality competitive environment that contributes to honing talent and developing a promising generation of athletes who can represent the country in various events in the future.
