Memorandum of Understanding between the Emirates and Jazan University for recognition of competency qualifications – Saudi News

Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Emirate of Jizan Region, witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Emirate of Jizan Region and the University of Jazan, in the presence of his representative Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jarawi. It aims to strengthen joint cooperation in the areas of education, training, consultation, leadership development and human capital development in support of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
The signing of the MoU was attended by Walid bin Sultan Al Sanawi, Vice-Minister of the Emirates, on behalf of the Emirate of Jizan Region, and Jazan University was represented by Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Abu Rasin, Rector of the University.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to develop cooperation between the two countries in academic, training and administrative fields of common interest through the implementation of professional training programs, exchange of experience and knowledge, and organization of conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as supporting professional consultations, developing leadership and improving the efficiency of national cadres.
The MoU includes the provision of collaborative training opportunities for male and female university students in the Jazan Emirate region, including postgraduate programmes, diplomas and training courses offered by the universities in accordance with approved regulations, in addition to cooperation in the implementation of research projects and studies that contribute to contributing to regional development priorities.
The MoU comes as an extension of the ambition of the Emirate of Jazan Region and the University of Jazan to consolidate efforts to strengthen institutional integration and benefit from academic, research and training capabilities in a way that contributes to the development of human capabilities and support for the sustainable development of the region.

Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince of Jizan Region, witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Emirate of Jizan Region and the University of Jazan in the presence of his representative Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jarawi. It aims to support the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and strengthen joint cooperation in the areas of education, training, consulting, leadership development and human capital development.
The signing of the MoU was attended by Deputy Emir Walid bin Sultan Al Sunaai on behalf of the Emirate of Jazan, and on behalf of the University of Jazan, Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Aburasheen, Rector of the University, attended.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to develop cooperation between the two countries in academic, training and administrative fields of mutual interest through the implementation of professional training programs, exchange of experience and knowledge, and organization of conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as professional consulting, leadership development and assistance in improving the efficiency of national cadres.
The MoU includes the provision of collaborative training opportunities for male and female university students from the emirates of Jazan region from postgraduate programmes, diplomas and training courses offered by the universities in accordance with approved regulations, in addition to cooperating in the implementation of projects and research studies that contribute to the region’s development priorities.
The MoU comes as an extension of the efforts of the Emirate of Jazan Region and the University of Jazan to strengthen institutional integration, integrate efforts to benefit from academic, research and training capabilities, contribute to the development of human capacity and support sustainable development in the region.
