“Meteorology”: Thunderstorms in 7 regions – Saudi News

The National Meteorological Center predicted in its weather forecast today (Wednesday) that opportunities for thunderstorms with hail and active winds would be ripe, limiting horizontal visibility in some areas of Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha, Mecca Al-Mukarrama, Riyadh, Al-Qassim, and Al-Sharqiyah. Fog is unlikely to occur in some of these areas, but active winds will continue to cause dust and soil-raising effects in parts of the Medina, Tabuk, and Al-Jawf regions. Hail, and the northern border.

According to the report, surface winds in the Red Sea range from west to northwest winds of 15 to 45 km/h in the northern and central regions, and southeast to easterly winds of 12 to 38 km/h in the south, reaching 50 km/h towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait, wave heights range from 0.5 meters to 1.5 meters, up to 2.5 meters, and sea conditions are light to moderate waves reaching in the form of waves.

Surface winds in the Arabian Gulf will blow from the southeast to the south at speeds of 15 to 40 km/h, reaching maximum speeds of 50 km/h, and in the central and southern regions from the southeast to the east, reaching speeds of 12 to 28 km/h. Wave heights range from 0.5 meters to 1.5 meters, exceeding 2 meters in the central and southern regions, and reaching 0.5 meters to 1 meter. Sea conditions will be light to moderate, with waves reaching waves and rain and thunderclouds forming in the area. The central and southern parts are north and light waves.
