“Meteorology”: Thunderstorms in four regions – Saudi News

In its weather forecast today (Saturday), the National Meteorological Center predicted that rainy cumulonimbus clouds and fog will continue to occur in parts of the highlands of Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha and Mecca Al-Mukarramah regions, while active winds stirring up dust and dust will continue to affect the eastern parts of these areas and parts of Najran, Riyadh, Al-Qasim and Al-Sharqiyah. According to the report, the surface wind conditions in the Red Sea are northwest-to-northeast winds of 15-30 km/h in the northern and central regions, and south-to-southwest winds of 12-32 km/h (up to 50 km/h) in the south, with thunderclouds forming and wave heights of 0.5 to 1.5 meters, up to 2 meters, and thunderclouds occurring in the south. The National Meteorological Center forecast today (Saturday) that thundercloud formation and fog will continue in parts of the highlands of Jizan, Asir, Al-Baha and Makkah regions. Meanwhile, active winds lifting dust and sand will continue in the eastern part of these regions, Najran, Riyadh, Qassim, Eastern Province, northern border, and parts of Al-Jawf.
