Interior Ministry security spokesperson Brigadier General Talal bin Abdul Mohsen bin Shalhoub said that in view of the active security pursuit of the activities of criminal networks conducting drug smuggling, the competent Lebanese authorities were able to seize the manufacturing plant based on information provided by the Saudi Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate for Drug Enforcement, to its Lebanese counterpart. The security spokesperson praised the active cooperation with the Lebanese Republic’s counterpart in drug surveillance and control, stressing that Saudi Arabia continues to pursue criminal activities using drugs to target the safety of the Kingdom and its youth, confronting and deterring crimes and arresting those involved in them.

The Security Spokesperson emphasized the active cooperation with the Lebanese Republic’s counterparts in the monitoring and seizure of drug substances and confirmed that the Kingdom continues to monitor drug-related criminal activities aimed at the safety of the Kingdom and youth, combating and preventing crimes and arresting those involved.
