Despite being orphaned at an early age, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh lived under the care of Knowledge. He lost his father in 1951 when he was just eight years old. He then devoted himself to reciting the Holy Quran until he memorized it at an early age, before losing his eyesight at the age of 20. But even with these obstacles, he was able to gain knowledge from his whole body.
Al-Sheikh became the third general mufti in the history of the kingdom, after Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz (may God have mercy on them).
He spent 35 years of his life as a preacher on the day of Arafah, on which day his head was lifted up, hoping for forgiveness from the Lord of his servants.
Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Sheikh’s birthday dates back to November 1943 in Mecca. He learned Shari’a science at the hands of a group of great scholars, including Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz, and Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Shasri.
He engaged in the study of Sharia science with the leading scholars of the time, especially the pioneers who held the position of Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, and spent much of his time gaining knowledge from Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz.
Although he lost his eyesight in his twenties, his tenacious pursuit of knowledge enabled him to begin a rich scientific and practical life that combined the pursuit of knowledge at the hands of the scholars of the time with enrollment in regular schools. He entered the Imam al-Dawa Institute of Science in Riyadh in 1374 AH, then entered the Sharia University in Riyadh affiliated with Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in 1380 AH, graduating as an expert in Arabic and Sharia sciences in 1374 AH. 1383-1384 Ah.

His career in gaining knowledge qualified him to take on multiple jobs. Starting in 1384, he began teaching for eight years at the Imam al-Dawa Scientific Institute in Riyadh, then moved to the Sharia University in Riyadh, where he worked as assistant professor in 1399, associate professor in 1400, and further taught at the Higher Institute of Judiciary. During that time, he became a cleric and preached at the Imam Turki Mosque and the Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Mosque in Dafna, Riyadh. Bin Abdullah.
In 1402 AH, he was appointed Imam and preacher of the Nimra Mosque in Arafa. He is the most famous preacher in Arafa, having preached sermons for 35 years from 1982 to 2015.
In 1407 AH he became a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and in 1412 AH he became a permanent member of the Standing Committee on Academic Research and Fatwas. In 1416 AH, a royal decree was issued appointing him deputy mufti of the kingdom. He was then appointed General Mufti, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, General Chairman of Academic Research and Fatwas on 29 Muharram, 1420, after the death of the previous Mufti Abdulaziz bin Baz.

Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh was born in Mecca in November 1943. He received his religious education from a group of prominent scholars, including Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Sheikh, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz, and Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Shasri.
He pursued the study of religious studies under the guidance of the great scholars of his time, especially his predecessors who held the position of Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, and spent much of his time learning from both Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Sheikh and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz.
Despite losing his eyesight in his twenties, his dedication to the pursuit of knowledge enabled him to begin a rich academic and practical life, combining the pursuit of knowledge with his contemporaries and admission to formal school. He entered the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh in 1374 AH and then the Sharia University in Riyadh, graduating in 1383-1384 with specialization in Arabic and Sharia sciences.

His journey to acquire knowledge qualified him to carry out various responsibilities, starting from 1384 AH, when he began teaching for eight years at the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, moving to the Shari’a University in Riyadh to work as an assistant professor in 1399 AH, and working as an associate professor in 1400 AH. In addition, he taught at the Higher Institute of Justice and during this time held the positions of imam and preacher at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Mosque in Dafna and later at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque.
In 1402 AH, he was appointed imam and preacher of the Namira Mosque in Arafa, becoming one of Arafa’s most famous preachers. He consistently preached Arafa’s sermons for 35 years from 1982 to 2015.
In 1407 AH he became a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and in 1412 AH a permanent member of the Standing Committee for Scientific Research and Ifta. In 1416 AH, by royal decree, he was appointed Deputy Grand Mufti of the kingdom, and then, on Muharram 29, 1420 AH, after the death of the previous Mufti Abdulaziz bin Baz, he was appointed with ministerial status as Grand Mufti, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, General Chairman of Scientific Research, and Chairman Ifta.
