Nestlé Academy held a remarkable event in Jeddah on Thursday that brought together its alumni from various professional tracks — including Supply Chain, Sales, and Nutrition — alongside Nestlé employees and key partners from both the public and private sectors.
The evening welcomed over 200 distinguished guests, including officials, executives, and advocates of national talent development.
The event celebrated the accomplishments of Nestlé Academy in 2023 and 2024 and marked the beginning of 2025 by spotlighting future directions and the roadmap for the remainder of the year and beyond.
This aligns with the Academy’s mission to strengthen connections among its graduates, foster knowledge exchange, and cultivate professional networks that contribute to advancing the Saudi labor market and its path to excellence.
This gathering reaffirms Nestlé Academy’s commitment to empowering young Saudi talents and preparing them for the workforce, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030—which aims to enhance youth participation in national development and elevate human capital through specialized training, professional development, and practical guidance.
The event saw the attendance of strategic partners from both government and private entities who played a vital role in the success of the Academy’s programs by offering support and providing instructors from their organizations. Special acknowledgments and tokens of appreciation were presented to key contributors, including representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), and EADA Company for Environmental Services.
Additionally, several senior executives from major corporations and retailers attended, including Tamer Group, Danube, LuLu, Panda-who have actively supported the Academy by offering employment opportunities to graduates and hosting field visits. These real-world experiences enabled students to explore work environments first-hand and bridge the gap between theory and practice.
In his remarks during the evening, Robert Helou, CEO of Nestlé Saudi Arabia, stated:
“The Nestlé Academy initiative is focused on youth empowerment, development, and job creation. We are proud to be joined by our strategic government partners as we work toward our shared mission of supporting Vision 2030.”
Through initiatives like this, Nestlé Academy aims to cultivate a dynamic professional community that includes graduates and contributors from across sectors. It also opens the door for future partnerships and innovative ideas that can amplify the social and national impact of the program.
This event serves as a continuation of the Academy’s investment in human capital—preparing a qualified generation of young leaders equipped to confidently drive the Kingdom’s future and support comprehensive and sustainable development across vital sectors.
