Oman’s 3-5 star hotel revenue will reach $773 million in 2025

Revenue for hotels in the three- to five-star category in Oman increased by 22.2% by the end of December 2025, reaching approximately R297.3 million ($773.2 million) compared to the same period in 2024.

Hotel occupancy rates also rose to 56.7% from 49.9% in the same period in 2024, ONA reported.

According to Oman’s tourism sector statistical data up to the end of December 2025, the number of guests staying in three- to five-star hotels increased by 10.8% compared to the same period in 2024, to a total of 2,376,955.

According to data published by the National Center for Statistics and Information, the number of Omani overnight guests increased by 6.6% to 857,481, while the number of guests from GCC countries increased by 7.2% to 212,798.

Conversely, the number of guests from other Arab countries decreased by 1.6% to 101,377.

The number of guests from the Asian continent increased by 11% to 345,526 guests, while guests from the African continent increased by 20.2% to 15,321 guests.

The number of guests from continental Europe increased by 22.3% to 659,571, and the number of guests from the Americas increased by 28.6% to 79,420.

Furthermore, the number of guests from Oceania increased by 25.2% to 41,386 by the end of December 2025.
