Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a global leader in integrated 360-degree airport hospitality and passenger service solutions, has officially unveiled the brand new Plaza Premium Lounge at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. First opened in 2018, the lounge has recently undergone a comprehensive restructuring and promises high standards of comfort, innovation and exceptional service, designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s discerning traveler.
This enhancement is strategically in line with King Fahd International Airport’s growth trajectory and supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) broader aviation transformation under Vision 2030. The project, which will be rolled out in two phases, with the first phase to be completed in November 2025, reflects Plaza Premium Group’s continued investment in the region and its commitment to providing world-class airport hospitality across the Middle East.

One of Saudi Arabia’s busiest airports, King Fahd International Airport connects to 65 destinations around the world and targets more than 19.3 million passengers per year by 2030, with a long-term capacity of 32 million. With the comprehensive upgrade of the lounge, PPG is well positioned to serve this growing market and strengthens the group’s support for Saudi Arabia’s goal of becoming the world’s leading travel hub.
PPG has been serving Saudi travelers for more than a decade, with a growing presence in Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah and across the Red Sea. This strategic strengthening is also in line with PPG’s vision to expand its footprint across the MENA region, following the recent opening of its regional headquarters in Riyadh.
“The opening of the new Plaza Premium Lounge in Dammam reinforces our strong confidence in Saudi Arabia’s growing aviation sector in Saudi Arabia. We remain committed to providing our expertise in delivering award-winning airport hospitality, better serving our passengers and supporting Saudi ambitions as we continue to expand in the region’s key destinations,” said Son Hui See, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group.
“Enhancing the passenger journey at King Fahd International Airport is a priority that we pursue through continued enhancements and trusted global partnerships,” said Mohamed A. Alhassani, CEO of Dammam Airport Engineering. “We welcome Plaza Premium Group’s continued investment in Dammam Airport, which is a strong addition to the ecosystem and raises the bar for comfort, hospitality and premium touchpoints for our customers. It supports our growth ambitions and contributes to our aviation program under the National Transport Authority.” We will work with logistics strategies to create a more seamless and comfortable experience for business, leisure and family travelers alike. ”
