ALULA — Prince William, Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne, arrived in AlUla province on Tuesday.
Upon arriving at AlUla International Airport, the Prince of Wales was greeted by Prince Salman bin Sultan, Ruler of Madinah. Major General Yousef Al-Zahrani, regional police chief; Mr. Ibrahim Bari, Director of the Royal Protocols Department for this region. and many other officials.
Prince William arrived in Riyadh on Monday as part of his first official visit to Saudi Arabia, which continues until Wednesday. Earlier on Tuesday, Prince William met with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Diriyah.
Kensington Palace said on Monday that Prince William will be briefed on efforts to protect AlUla’s wildlife and unique natural environment during his visit. The visit will include visits to projects related to women’s sports and esports, as well as participation in activities focused on economic reform, cultural initiatives and environmental programs.
