Doha, Qatar: Qatar Airways has announced that it will begin operating a limited number of relief flights from today, despite temporarily suspending its operations.
“Starting March 5, we will be operating a limited number of relief flights to assist passengers who are stranded due to the current situation across the region,” the airline said in a statement.
We are planning the following services.
– Flights from Muscat to London Heathrow, Berlin, Copenhagen, Madrid, Rome and Amsterdam
– Flights from Riyadh to Frankfurt
The airline advised passengers not to go to the airport unless they receive official notification from Qatar Airways regarding these flights.
Affected passengers will be contacted directly with their assigned flight details, travel arrangements and next steps.
Passengers are asked to ensure their contact details are up to date so that we can contact them regarding flight information and instructions.
Meanwhile, normal operations will resume as soon as the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace and an update will be provided tomorrow, March 6, 2026. The airline added that it is continuously monitoring the situation and will share updates as they become available.
