Ras Al Khaimah Special Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has marked the groundbreaking of a new 5,839 square meter warehouse facility in Al Hamra Industrial Zone by Indu, a multi-industry focused logistics and warehousing solutions provider.

The new development will provide an advanced warehousing solution with an expected capacity of 12,000 square meters. The facility is designed to supply fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), hotel supplies and groceries, and will primarily support the food and beverage industry across the Northern Emirates by providing specialist storage solutions.

Scheduled for completion in Q4 2026, the project forms a key part of Indu’s broader expansion strategy to evolve into a multi-industry focused logistics provider, capitalizing on Ras Al Khaimah’s accelerating economic growth and rising demand across key sectors.

Commenting on this milestone, Indu Managing Director Khush Kishore Lakhani said, “Indu has always followed a ‘build it and it will happen’ approach. It reflects the growing demand for advanced logistics solutions in the consumer goods and food and beverage industry. By establishing this facility, we are positioned to strengthen our presence in the Northern Emirates and support the region’s continued economic and tourism-led growth.” Thanks to the active support we received from , we were able to stay on track with our plans and confidently execute this investment. ”

Ramy Jarad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, said: “Indu’s investment strengthens Ras Al Khaimah’s position as a growing logistics and distribution hub serving key sectors across the Northern Emirates. As demand increases, scalable warehousing infrastructure becomes increasingly important. At RAKEZ, we remain focused on providing our investors with the industrial space, streamlined processes, and end-to-end support they need to accelerate growth and service.” Delivering long-term value to the broader business ecosystem. ”

The development of this facility comes amid the continued expansion of Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism and hospitality sector, further strengthening the emirate’s supply chain capabilities and strengthening its industrial ecosystem.
