MADINA — A royal decree has been issued appointing Sheikh Saleh bin Awad Al Maghamsi as Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque.
Al-Maghamsi was born in Madinah in 1963 and grew up in an academic environment that encouraged him to pursue Islamic studies from an early age.
He later specialized in Quranic interpretation and served as Imam and preacher at the Quba Mosque for many years.
He is known for his calm and clear style in interpreting the Holy Quran and connecting religious texts to contemporary issues.
He is widely known within and outside Saudi Arabia.
Al-Maghamsi has presented numerous religious programs and lectures focused on reflections on the Qur’an, biographies of the Prophet, and Islamic values.
I have also participated in Islamic conferences and seminars, addressing intellectual and religious topics with an emphasis on moderation and balance.
He is known for presenting Islamic science in a simplified manner while maintaining academic depth and accuracy.
