Salah shines in the second half
Egypt’s star Mohamed Salah made an outstanding performance in the second half, setting up colleague Soboszlai’s second goal in the 56th minute and scoring his third from a penalty kick in the 68th minute.
Brighton’s duo of Kaoru Mitoma and Georginio Rutter threatened Liverpool’s goal in the closing stages, but the Reds kept a clean sheet and progressed to the fifth round.
