Syrian artist Sara Baraka, who participated for the first time in the play “Ghee on Honey”, which was previously performed as part of the activities of the Riyadh season, expressed her great joy at the warm welcome she received from the Saudi audience, stressing that the interaction between her Excellency the Entertainment Authority Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh and the people was special and extraordinary.
Preparation for the play
In a special statement to Okaz, Sara revealed that although the play was light, it required a lot of effort to prepare, especially since the production includes multiple performances, and said that she was very happy to be a part of it because she loves the show, and that the experience was delicious and fun.
Collaboration with stars
She noted that the collaboration with Syrian artist Moassem Al Nahar was very special, explaining that they have developed a friendship over the years, describing him as a humble star, and expressing her pleasure in collaborating with other participating artists, including Jumana Murad, Ayman Reda, Shukran Murtaja, and Ahmed Abdel Wahab.
Appearance in “Ali Clay”
She also indicated that her role in the series “Ali Klay” with Egyptian artist Ahmed Al-Awadi will be different, and she will appear in the last third of the event, explaining that she was initially scared due to her lack of knowledge of the popular hero’s culture, but the presence of Al-Awadi and director Mohamed Abdel Salam encouraged her to participate.

Sarah confirmed that after Ramadan she will begin filming her new series 90 Dresses, co-starring Mahmoud Hamida and her first collaboration with director Shadi Fouad, adding that she is happy with the experience and plans to play her daughter’s role in the film.
