Doha – Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman in Doha on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the strong brotherly relationship between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop it. The meeting also addressed the latest developments in the region and ongoing efforts towards them, as well as various issues of mutual concern.
Prince Khalid bin Salman arrived in Doha on an official visit to Qatar, following the instructions of King Salman, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. At the beginning of the meeting, Crown Prince Khalid extended his greetings to King Salman and Crown Prince Emir Tamim, and expressed his wishes for continued health and happiness to the Emir, as well as continued progress and welfare for the people of Qatar.
The Emir extended his greetings to King Salman and the Crown Prince and wished them continued health and happiness, and continued progress and prosperity for the Saudi people.
Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, a number of Qatari ministers, and members of the Saudi delegation accompanying the Minister of Defense also attended the meeting.
