Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Ruler of Jizan Region, visited the “Khaled and Pearls” exhibition as part of activities accompanying “Khaled Night” held in Farasan Islands Governorate.
During his tour of Al Qassar village, he witnessed the depth of history and cultural heritage of the region, seeing various pavilions of the exhibition displaying the marine and cultural heritage of the people of the Farasan Islands, in addition to handicrafts and local products related to fishing and pearling.
He heard a detailed explanation from the exhibition organizers about the exhibition’s content and participation, its emphasis on heritage and tourism elements, its role in supporting artisans and productive families, and strengthening the region’s cultural identity.
The organizers of the exhibition highly appreciated the support and interest that “Haredi” and tourism festivals receive from the region’s chiefs.
