Doha: Sidra Medicine and Qatar Energy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a framework for mutual cooperation across medical services, professional development opportunities and exchange of expertise.
The MoU reflects both organizations’ commitment to contributing to the continued development of Qatar’s healthcare ecosystem and supporting the needs of patients, healthcare professionals and the broader community.
Mohamed Khalid Al Mana, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Sidra Medicine, said: “This Memorandum of Understanding with Qatar Energy reflects our commitment to working closely with our domestic partners to support access to high-quality health services and investing in professional development. The MoU framework covers commercial healthcare solutions, including insurance pathways and customized maternity and corporate healthcare packages. This also includes education and training initiatives such as continuing medical education, professional development, and health education programs. Additional services include coordination of clinical services such as outpatient support, referral pathways and access to specialized care for Qatar Energy employees.
