Sisi and Erdogan attend closing session of Egypt-Turkey Business Forum – Saudi News

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan participated in the closing session of the Egypt-Turkey Business Forum held in Cairo yesterday, attended by Egyptian and Turkish government representatives and elite businessmen from both countries.

Egyptian Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy explained that in addition to examining the opportunities available for Turkish investments in the Egyptian market, the forum session also discussed ways to strengthen trade exchanges between the two countries.

In his speech at the closing session, the Egyptian President confirmed that the economic relations between Egypt and Turkey are based on solid and pragmatic foundations, pointing to the elements of economic integration between the two countries, as well as the geographical and cultural proximity, the availability of political will and the will of the business community, which contributed to achieving an unprecedented level of trade and investment cooperation.

Meanwhile, in a similar speech, the Turkish President said that Egypt and Turkey are two major countries whose developments occupy most of the international agenda, indicating that the contribution of bilateral cooperation is not only to the development of the two countries but also to regional stability.

Spokesperson of the Egyptian Presidential Office, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, explained that the forum sessions discussed ways to strengthen trade exchanges between the two countries, in addition to considering the opportunities available for Turkish investments in the Egyptian market.

In his speech at the closing session, the Egyptian President emphasized that the economic relations between Egypt and Turkey are based on solid and pragmatic foundations, pointing to the elements of economic integration between the two countries, the geographical and cultural proximity, and the availability of political will and the will of the business community, which contributed to reaching an unprecedented level of commercial and investment cooperation.
