Saudi Arabia’s main stock index rose today by 153.61 points to close at 11,321.09 points, with 5.8 billion riyals worth of transactions taking place.
According to the Saudi News Agency’s daily economic bulletin for the Saudi stock market, the volume of traded shares reached 240 million shares, of which 207 companies recorded gains, while 55 companies closed with declines.
Pharmaceutical companies, Lasan, Knowledge City, Electrical Industries and Marden had the highest share prices in the trade, while Najran Cement, AMAC, Saudi Cables, Namar Chemicals and Construction Plants had the lowest share prices, with gains and losses ranging from 7.26% to 2.11%.

Saudi Aramco, Americana, Ambive, Enmar and Electrical Industries stocks were the most active by volume, while Saudi Aramco, Marden, Al Rajhi, AMAC and Al Ahly stocks were the most active by value.
