Syria: Number of Arab and foreign tourists increases by 80% – Saudi News

The number of Arab and foreign tourists visiting Syria since its liberation in December 2024 until the end of November 2025 has increased by 80% compared to the same period in 2024.

“The total number of visitors and tourists, including Syrians, Arabs and foreigners, increased by 18% in 2025 compared to 2024, reaching 3.56 million compared to 3.01 million,” Syrian Minister of Tourism Mazen al-Salhani said in a statement.

Al Salhani pointed out that, “In addition to the 2.69 million Syrian expatriate visitors, an increase of 6% compared to 2024, the number of Arab and foreign tourists increased by 80% during the same period, from 483,000 to approximately 868,000, of which the total number of foreign tourists reached 377,000, an increase of 79% on an annual basis, from 210,000 compared to 2024.” 2024. ”
