UAE defense forces intercepted and destroyed nine ballistic missiles and 109 unmanned aerial vehicles. Meanwhile, the country’s state news agency WAM reported that three drones landed in UAE territory.

“Since Iran’s serious violations began last Saturday, our armed forces have intercepted 205 ballistic missiles,” the Defense Ministry said. A total of 190 aircraft were destroyed, 13 of which fell into the sea and two into the UAE.

It also detected 1,184 drones, intercepted 1,110, and crashed 74 within the country.

Three foreign workers and civilians from Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan were killed and 112 others injured. They include people from the Emirates, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Comoros and Turkiye.

The Ministry of Defense said it stands ready to confront any threats and decisively deal with anything aimed at destabilizing the country’s security. He vowed to uphold the sovereignty, security and stability of the UAE and protect its interests.

Meanwhile, Fujairah authorities announced that they had extinguished a fire that broke out in the Fujairah Oil Industrial Zone (FOIZ). The fire was caused by debris from an intercepted drone.

There were no injuries in the incident.
