Real Madrid announced that their star midfielder Jude Bellingham was diagnosed with an injury sustained during yesterday’s (Sunday) Round 22 match of the Spanish league (La Liga) against Rayo Vallecano.

“Real Madrid FC’s medical services have carried out tests on our player Jude Bellingham and diagnosed him with an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left foot,” the club said in a statement on its website.

Expected length of absence
According to Spanish newspaper As, Bellingham will be out for about a month, during which he will miss at least four Spanish league matches against Valencia, Real Sociedad, Osasuna and Getafe, as well as the Champions League match between Real Madrid and Benfica. His participation in the game against Celta Vigo remains highly doubtful.
