Zamalek achieved a 5-goal to 2 victory over hosts Kahraba Ismailia in Round 17 of the Egyptian Premier League at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium yesterday (Wednesday).
Zamalek took the lead in the 38th minute with a goal from Ahmed Sharif, and just four minutes later Palestinian Uday Al Daba added the second goal for the White Knights.
Zamalek’s El Said Osama scored an own goal before the end of the first half, giving the away team a 2-1 lead.
White dominates in the second half
Ahmed Sharif returned in the 52nd minute to add Zamalek’s third goal, while Omar Al-Sayed scored his team’s second goal in the 62nd minute to close the gap for Qahraba Ismailia.
Nasser Mansi scored Zamalek’s fourth goal in the 73rd minute, while Uday Al Daba returned to score his team’s second and fifth individual goals three minutes before the end of the match.

With this result, Zamalek increased their score to 28 points and moved into second place, four points behind leaders Ceramica Cleopatra.
