Juffari Company hosted German Federal Minister of Economics and Energy Katrina Reiche during an official visit to the Juffari Industrial Park in King Abdullah Economic City, in the presence of Chairman of the Board of Management Khaled Juffari and a number of senior officials and executives, an important stop reflecting the strength of the growing industrial partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Juffari Industrial Park is spread over a total area of 400,000 square meters and is considered a strategic platform to support advanced manufacturing and localize certain industries in the Kingdom. The visit highlighted joint industrial projects with global partners that reflect a common commitment to long-term investment, knowledge and technology transfer, and strengthening local content.

The official program of the visit included welcome speeches and a symbolic inauguration ceremony, in which Liebherr laid the foundation stone of a new factory in the complex, and Juffali Industrial Equipment Company and National Automobile Manufacturing Company laid the foundation stones of two industrial plants, marking the beginning of a new phase of industrial cooperation between the Saudi and German sides.

The production capacity of Juffali Industrial Equipment Company and National Automotive Manufacturing Company is expected to reach 6,000 trucks per year, and the production capacity of the Liebherr plant is expected to reach approximately 1,000 cement mixers per year. In support of localization efforts and building the country’s industrial capacity, the entire assembly and manufacturing operations will be 100% local within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

These projects are qualitative additions to the Saudi industrial system and are directly aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting sustainable industrial development, creating quality employment opportunities, and promoting high value-added industries.
Mr. Khaled Al Juffali underlined Juffali Group’s commitment to continue expanding international partnerships through long-term industrial cooperation with key global partners and actively contributing to the diversification of the national economy, thereby strengthening the position of King Abdullah Economic City as a regional center of industry and advanced manufacturing.
