RIYADH — Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport will begin a phased terminal migration process from February 16, 2026 to February 25, 2026, as part of what airport officials describe as the biggest operational transformation in its history.
The move will see international and domestic flights moved across multiple terminals in phases over 10 days, affecting flights operated by Saudia, Flynas, Flydeal and foreign airlines.
The airport said the measures are aimed at improving passenger flow, operational efficiency and long-term service quality, and urged travelers to carefully check designated terminals before departure.
Key transition dates and terminal changes
• February 16: International flights operated by flyadeal scheduled to depart after midnight will be relocated to Terminal 1.
• February 17: International flights operated by Saudia departing after 3 a.m. will be moved to Terminal 2.
• February 24th:
– All Saudia domestic flights departing after midnight will be relocated to Terminal 4.
– Domestic flights operated by Saudia, Flynas and Flydeal departing after 11pm will also operate from Terminal 4.
• February 25th:
– International flights of foreign airlines departing after 5 a.m. will be relocated to Terminal 5.
– Domestic flights operated by Saudia, flynas and flyadeal departing after 7am will only operate from Terminal 3, which is dedicated to domestic flights.
Passenger information
The airport reminded passengers to arrive early, noting that check-in at designated terminals begins four hours before departure.
Travelers are encouraged to stay in close contact with their airlines during the transition period to receive the latest operational updates.
The terminal transition is part of a broader modernization drive at King Khalid International Airport.
