Recently, a sponsorship agreement was signed between the healthy meal app Calo, owned by Calo Food Technology, and the young female rally driver Orjwan Ammar. The aim is to create a success story for a champion set to excel in this exciting, challenging, and determined sport.
The agreement was signed at the Calo app headquarters in Jeddah by Calo’s Marketing Specialist Ghaidaa Sherbini and the rally driver Orjwan Ammar, The sponsorship commenced during Orjwan’s participation in the Tabuk Rally Challenge last April.
Ghaidaa Sherbini, explained that the concept of this collaboration goes beyond mere sponsorship, and more into the support of a true partnership in making a champion in car racing. Our collaboration is done through providing support and offering advice, especially under the aspect of dietary programs which are among the most important pillars relied upon in the career of successful athletes around the world. She continued, Our aim through this sponsorship is to share our extensive experience in the field of health to build a healthy meal plan for the young Orjwan Ammar, who we see has the desire, determination, and passion to go far in car racing. Therefore, our role will not be limited to the traditional concept of sponsorship in car racing, but we will have an important and vital role in creating a success story for this champion through the nutritional aspect,as well as the athletic fitness side.
For her part, rally driver Orjwan Ammar expressed her happiness with this sponsorship, which is especially significant as it supports her while she is still at the beginning of her journey in racing to achieve her ambitions and dreams of advancing to the top positions in various local and international rally races, she added, It is a great honor to be chosen by a specialized entity with a prestigious reputation in its field like the Calo app to form a long-term relationship with big goals. It is noted that rally driver Orjwan Ammar recently participated in the Tabuk Rally within the SSV category aboard her Maverick Can-Am, accompanied by the well-known Emirati navigator Khalid Al Kindi, who is the first Arab navigator to participate in the Dakar Rally events and has extensive experience in this field.”
