According to statistics compiled by Al Arabiya Business, the highest exchange rate for the US dollar at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank was 47.03 pounds for purchase and 47.13 pounds for sale.
The lowest exchange rate for the US dollar at the Gulf Bank of Egypt and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank was 46.85 GBP for purchase and 46.95 GBP for sale.
The dollar exchange rate at the Central Bank of Egypt was recorded at 47.14 pounds for selling and 47 pounds for buying.
The dollar exchange rate of the National Bank of Egypt, Misr Bank, Commercial International Bank, HSBC Bank and Qatar National Bank recorded a buy price of 47.02 pounds against a sell price of 47.12 pounds.

The Egyptian pound ended 2025 on a strong note, gaining 6.7% against the dollar since the beginning of last year, supported by a record surge in remittances from Egyptians working abroad and a recovery in liquidity in the banking sector.

At the Central Bank of Egypt, the dollar exchange rate was recorded at 47 pounds for buying and 47.14 pounds for selling.
The exchange rate of the National Bank of Egypt, Misr Bank, Commercial International Bank, HSBC Bank and Qatar National Bank against the dollar was 47.02 pounds for buying and 47.12 pounds for selling.
