On January 22, in Riyadh, iCAUR held a media test drive event for the V27 model, attended by 12 local journalists and content creators.
The group drove five V27 vehicles to the famous natural landmark Edge of the World to experience first-hand its unique boxy design and advanced technology on challenging real-world roads.
This morning, journalists and content creators gathered at the St. Regis Riyadh Hotel in downtown Riyadh, where iCAUR delivered a comprehensive introductory presentation on the product and an interactive session that allowed guests to learn more about V27’s fundamental technology and design philosophy in a comfortable atmosphere, as well as an introductory brunch that provided a detailed overview of the brand.

The test vehicle convoy then departed from the city and headed toward the end of the world, about 200 kilometers northwest of Riyadh. During the trip, participants praised the vehicle’s smooth operation and quietness. We also praised the 15.4-inch touch screen system with 3K HD resolution and smart entertainment system with advanced Snapdragon 8155 processor, especially voice control features for navigation, climate, and music.
It is worth noting that the Edge of the World is a 1,000-kilometer-long, approximately 300-meter-high rock cliff located in the north of the Tuwaiq Mountains, and is considered one of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent natural landmarks. The road there is extremely difficult, as it has no communication networks or guiding signs and passes through vast plains dotted with soft tire tracks and ruts formed by rainwater.
In these challenging conditions, the V27 demonstrated true off-road capability. iCAUR’s first full-scale production model with Golden REEV (Range Extended Electric Vehicle) technology, the V27 is equipped with a 1.5T range extension engine with a thermal efficiency of up to 45.79% and the ability to generate 3.71 kWh per liter of fuel, giving the vehicle a total range of more than 1,000 km even in arid and semi-arid regions with limited refueling stations.
The front and rear electric motors deliver a total of 455 horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5 seconds, delivering powerful and stable performance even on complex roads. Vehicle tuning by international racing team Prodrive, combined with the intelligent i-AWD all-wheel drive system, provides high stability at high speeds and precise control on uneven surfaces, providing excellent driving sensation in vehicles up to 5 meters in length. Media experts and content creators repeatedly emphasized this balance between performance and efficiency during trial activities.
The first batch of iCAUR V27 has now officially shipped to six markets in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. The Middle East will be the first region in the world to launch the V27 model, with launches in the Emirates and Bahrain in February, followed by Saudi Arabia in March.
Prior to its official launch in Saudi Arabia, iCAUR will launch a series of activities in Saudi Arabia, including exhibitions at commercial centers and the opening of showrooms, giving media and users the opportunity to learn more about this new model in the world of extended range electric vehicles. The showroom will also display the AiMOGA robot, which supports Chery Group’s latest artificial intelligence technology.
