Knowledge Economic City, a leading developer listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), supervised by the Special Economic Cities and Zones Authority and contributing to the transformation of the city and economy of the Medina, announced that it has won two awards at the 2025 Global Economics Awards: “Most Innovative Iconic Design for the City Gate Project” and “Best Real Estate Developer in Integrated Urban Development in the Kingdom.” Saudi Arabia. ”

The project features a strategic location that connects residents and visitors to the medina’s most important landmarks, integrating transportation, hospitality and retail within one urban destination, making it an attractive option for investors and tourists. The first phase of the project will expand the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Citygate, which includes 325 hotel rooms, plus more than 23,000 square meters of rental space.

Meanwhile, the “Best Real Estate Developer in the Development of Integrated Urban Destination” award reflects Knowledge Economy City’s comprehensive capabilities in the areas of governance, building strategic partnerships, sustainability and the environment, commitment to social and institutional governance (ESG) standards, and long-term asset management, reinforcing the city’s position as a sustainable and forward-looking city of the future.

This honor is given as confirmation of the knowledge economy city’s role in supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and contributing to strengthening Medina’s position as a global destination that combines cultural and historical depth, economic growth and innovative urban development.
