“Patrol” faces the “environment”… and “cooperation” faces the “system” With memories of 2024 – Saudi News

The third day of the second round of the Jeddah 2026 Football Championship to be held at the Olympic Village Stadium will begin tomorrow (Monday) evening.

At exactly 8:45 pm, the second match of Group (G) will witness a competitive ‘Derby’ between ‘Al Tawun’ and their opponents ‘Al Rusouk’. “Al Ta’oun” (2024 Jeddah Cup winners) won 2-0 against “Njoum Al Forsan” of Taif and enters the match with three points and will be looking for a win to solidify their lead.

On the other hand, Al Rasouk (Jeddah Cup runners-up) aims to win the first match and hope to avenge their revenge in the 2024 Cup final.

The Group C match will pit the Jeddah Governorate Security Patrol Force team against the Environmental Security Special Forces team at 10:40 p.m. The former will be looking to further strengthen their lead after defeating ‘Mecca Al Mukarramah Regional Facilities Guard’ 4-3 last time out, while the latter will be aiming for a good result in their first match.

On the other hand, the players of the Jeddah Police team overturned a one-goal deficit against their opponents Royal Guards in the match held yesterday in the same tournament on Sunday, winning by two goals. They earned three points in the final match of Group (B), equaling the points scored by the Western Sector National Guard team who defeated the police in the first round (2-1), and will now play against the Royal Guards. He will aim for first place in next Sunday’s “Royal.”

In the second match, Jeddah’s Salam Al Jamaa team maintained their lead in Group (F) with a 1-0 victory over Shabab Al Ezz (Mecca) and qualified for the Round of 16. They increased their score to 4 points and further widened the gap with Noor Academy, who won last time, and will play against the 2nd place of Group (E) in the next round.

Tomorrow (Monday) evening, the third day of the second round of the “Jeddah 2026” football tournament will open at the (Olympic Village) Stadium.

At exactly 8:45 pm, we will witness the Jeddah derby between ‘Al Tawun’ and their opponents ‘Al Rasq’ in the second match of Group (G). “Al Ta’oon” (2024 Jeddah Cup winners) won 2-0 against Taif’s “Stars of the Knights” and enter the match with three points and are looking for a win to solidify their lead.

On the other hand, “Al Rasq” (Jeddah Cup runners-up team) is aiming for a victory in the first match, aiming to avenge their loss in the 2024 Cup final.

At 10:40 p.m., in the Group (C) match, the “Jeddah Governorate Security Forces” team and the “Environmental Security Special Forces” team will face off, with the former aiming to strengthen their lead since their 4-3 victory over the “Mecca Regional Institutional Security Forces” last time out, and the latter aiming to make a good impression in their first match.

Meanwhile, the players of the Jeddah Police team achieved an important victory against the Royal Guards in a match held yesterday (Sunday) as part of the tournament, overturning a one-goal deficit to win by two points, taking three points from the last match of Group (B), leveling the points of the Western Sector National Guard team, which defeated the Police in the first round (2-1). They will play the “Royal” team next Sunday for the top spot.

In the second match, Salama University team from (Jeddah) defeated Youth of Honor from (Mecca) 1-0, maintaining first place in group (F) and qualifying for the round of 16. They increased their points to 4, widening their lead over Noor Academy, who won last time, and will play against the 2nd place of Group (E) in the next round.
