‘Rebuilding Yemen’ supports health in Shabwa – Saudi News

Amid a series of development initiatives led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by the Saudi Yemen Development and Recovery Plan to develop Yemen’s health sector, Shabwa Governorate has witnessed an acceleration of on-the-ground and administrative actions to ensure the efficiency of health services.

Deputy Governor of Shabwa, Secretary General of the Local Council Mr. Abd Rabbou Hashra Nasser, and Dr. Shauki Al Sharjabi, Undersecretary of the Department of Treatment and Medicine at the Ministry of Health, inspected the progress of work at the General Hospital Authority of Shabwa in Attaq city and confirmed the level of services provided to the population.

Local assessment of Saudi Arabia’s role

Deputy Governor of Shabwa “Hashra” and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health “Al Sharjabi” expressed their deep gratitude and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for this generous support, which directly touches the needs of the Yemeni people.

Officials stressed that outsourcing the surgery to a Saudi-backed specialist institution represented a “quantum shift” that would end the suffering of many patients, praising the Saudi plan’s pioneering role in turning the plan into concrete reality on the ground.

At the end of the tour, the delegation listened to a technical report on the operational plans for the remaining departments, which will be opened soon, with a focus on overcoming all difficulties for the hospital to continue as a pioneering medical facility serving all the people of Shabwa Governorate and surrounding areas.

As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-led development initiative and with support from the Saudi Yemen Development and Recovery Plan to strengthen Yemen’s health sector, Shabwa Governorate has seen rapid on-the-ground and administrative movements to ensure the efficiency of health services.

Deputy Governor of Shabwa, Secretary-General of the Local Council Abdullahba Hashra Nasser, and Dr. Shawki Al-Sharjabi, Undersecretary of the Department of Therapeutic Medicine at the Ministry of Health, inspected the workflow of Shabwa General Hospital in Attaq city and assessed the level of services provided to the population.

Deputy Governor Hashra and Deputy Minister Al Sharjabi expressed their deep gratitude and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, for this generous support that directly addresses the needs of the Yemeni people.
