Rotana, a top hotel management company in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye (MENAT) region, announced its big plans for growth in Saudi Arabia at the Future Hospitality Summit 2024.

They aim to open seven new hotels in the next five years in major places across the Kingdom, showcasing their dedication to helping Saudi Vision 2030 and will double the number of rooms they have in the area.

The opening of Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar is the start of a big expansion plan for the next five years. This will add up to 4,400 rooms in 16 properties. Also, Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts now has 2,080 rooms across six hotels, which is a big achievement for Rotana’s modern hospitality brand.

Rotana’s presence at the Future Hospitality Summit was a key opportunity to showcase its new ideas and future projects, highlighting its important role in shaping tourism in the region. By focusing on guest preferences and improving offerings in Saudi Arabia, Rotana plans to actively contribute to the market and double its rooms in the Kingdom in the coming years. Currently, Rotana runs nine hotels in five Saudi cities, showing its strong base and knowledge of the local market. This expansion will greatly increase Rotana’s reach, meeting the needs of both local and international visitors.

Commenting on the announcement, Philip Barnes, Rotana CEO, said: “We are excited to be participating in the Future Hospitality Summit again this year, offering a fantastic opportunity for Rotana to showcase its latest developments and connect with industry peers. Leveraging our keen understanding of the market, we look forward to further developing our brand presence in the Kingdom and across the region as well as entering new markets globally, always delivering on our brand promise of ‘Treasured Time’ to guests across the world.”

As Rotana takes on the mission to grow in all the major Saudi cities, this effort will definitely enhance the country’s hospitality industry, as every new hotel is carefully designed to blend in with the local culture. In addition, this expansion doesn’t just aim to double Rotana’s rooms but also creates many jobs and supports Saudi Vision 2030 by boosting local economies.
