The Saudi Press Agency announced on Saturday that the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council reiterated its gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continued support to the Yemeni people.
The Council praised Saudi leadership under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for its sincere and firm stand in supporting Yemen. He also praised Saudi Arabia’s dedicated efforts to strengthen security and stability, strengthen state institutions, and provide generous humanitarian and development assistance.
The remarks were made during a meeting of the Presidential Leadership Council in Riyadh on Friday.
The meeting reviewed the region’s development at various levels, including progress towards reconstruction and normalization of the situation in the interim capital Aden and liberated governorates.
Discussions also focused on the continued efforts of local governments, security agencies, and military institutions to stabilize the situation and improve institutional performance.
