Zamalek defeats Al-Ittihad…takes lead in Egyptian league – Saudi News

Zamalek achieved a precious victory with a clean sheet against their guests Al Ittihad (Alexandria) in matchday 21 of the Egyptian Premier League Championship held at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday night.

Zamalek’s only goal of the match was decided in the 11th minute with a great header from Nasser Mansi.

In the first half, Al Ittihad Alexandria’s Karim El Deeb and Zamalek’s Mohamed Shehata were sent off after violent interference from both sides.

With this result, Zamalek now sit at the top of the Egyptian league with 43 points, three points behind Pyramid and Al Ahly, who are in second and third place respectively.

Meanwhile, Alexandria’s Al Ittihad suffered their 12th loss of the season, dropping to 14th place with 20 points.

Zamalek achieved a valuable one-goal victory against their guests Al Ittihad Al Sakandari in a match held at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday night as part of Round 21 of the Egyptian Premier League.

The only goal of the match came in the 11th minute with a stunning header from Nasr Mansi.

In the first half, Al Ittihad Al Sakandari’s Karim Al Dib and Zamalek’s Mohamed Schacht were shown red cards after violent interference from both teams.

With this result, Zamalek increased their points to 43 and took first place in the Egyptian league. They are three points behind Pyramids and Al Ahly, who are in second and third place respectively.

On the other hand, Al Ittihad Al Sakandari only had 20 points and suffered their 12th loss of the season, leaving them in 14th place.
