Saudi Arabia-based health tech Madeed has raised $400,000 in a pre-seed round led by Vision Ventures with participation from Saudi angel investors Mashhoor Aldubayan, Mazen Aldarrab, and Abdulla Nadeem Elyas. Founded in 2025 by Adam Bataineh, the startup is building a preventive healthcare platform focused on early detection of disease risk through advanced biomarkers and laboratory tests. The funding will support product development, expanding clinical and laboratory partnerships, and launching the first member cohort in Saudi Arabia as the company moves toward early commercialization.

press release:

Madeed, a Saudi preventive health and longevity startup, has raised $400,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Vision Ventures with participation from Saudi angel investors Mashhoor Aldubayan, Mazen Aldarrab, and Abdulla Nadeem Elyas.

Founded by Dr. Adam Bataine, Madeed is building an end-to-end preventive healthcare platform focused on moving healthcare from reactive to early detection. The company uses advanced laboratory testing to identify risk factors for disease by screening for biomarkers associated with hundreds of underlying conditions, often before symptoms appear.

At the core of Madeed’s services is a member-based model that combines diagnosis, physician-led interpretation, and personalized interventions. Members receive advanced blood and biomarker testing, detailed health reports, and clinical reviews covering key areas such as metabolic health, hormonal balance, cardiovascular risk, inflammation, and more.

The platform complements diagnostics with personalized health protocols that span lifestyle optimization, nutrition, and supplements. The key differentiator is Madeed’s customized daily supplement packs, which are individually designed based on lab results, positioning the product as a data-driven alternative to common wellness supplements.

The new capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand clinical and laboratory partnerships across the region, and launch Madeed’s first group of members, initially focused on the Saudi market. The startup is currently in the early stages of commercialization, strengthening its provider network and testing product market fit ahead of broader regional expansion.
