The Ministry of Commerce has announced that the business season for the holy month of Ramadan will begin on February 1, 2026, on Sha’ban 13, 1447, and will continue until March 26, 2026, on Shawar 7, 1447.
The ‘Ramadan Sale’ season goes beyond Eid al-Fitr and includes all Ramadan goods and products, as well as Eid supplies. The Ministry allows commercial establishments and electronics stores to apply for sales licenses electronically through sales.mc.gov.sa.
The 54-day Ramadan sales season aims to encourage consumers to shop early and avoid last-minute crowds.
Inspection tour
Electronic submission of discounts is intended to allow establishments and e-stores to easily license, print and present to consumers without losing days of their annual balance of discounts.
Consumers can check the regularity and validity of the discount by scanning the “barcode” on the discount license with a mobile camera, which displays all data related to the discount (type and percentage of discount, duration, etc., in addition to basic data of the establishment).
The Ministry confirmed that it will continue inspection tours of commercial establishments to confirm the regularity of discounts and monitor discounts in all regions of the Kingdom.

Consumers can verify the legality and accuracy of discounts by scanning the barcode displayed on the discount license with their mobile camera. The discount license displays all data related to discounts, including “basic property information, as well as discount type and percentage, and discount period.”
The ministry confirmed that it will continue inspection tours to commercial establishments to verify the legality of discounts and monitor discounts in all regions of the Kingdom.
