Joint field operations to track and crackdown on violators of regulations regarding residence, labor, and border security were carried out in all regions of the Kingdom from August 3, 1447 (equivalent to January 22, 2026 A.D.) to August 9, 1447 (equivalent to January 28, 2026 A.D.), with the following results:
Firstly, the total number of violators captured in joint security field operations in all Saudi regions has reached 19,975 violators, including residence regime violators (12,906 people), border security regime violators (3,918 people), and labor regime violators (3,151 people).
Secondly, the total number of people arrested attempting to cross the border into Saudi Arabia reached 1,716 (39%), of which Yemeni nationals (39%), Ethiopian nationals (60%) and other nationalities (01%). Additionally, 48 people were arrested for attempting to irregularly cross the border outside the Kingdom.
Third, (11) arrested for being involved in transporting, harboring, employing, and concealing persons who violate regulations regarding residence, employment, and border security;
Fourth, the total number of persons currently subject to regulatory enforcement proceedings amounts to violative expatriates (23,472), including men (21,862) and women (1,610).
Fifth: (16,595) violators were referred to overseas embassies to obtain travel documents, (1,820) violators were referred to complete travel reservations, and (14,867) violators were deported.
The Ministry of Interior has confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry into the Kingdom of a violator of the border security system, transports them into the Kingdom, provides shelter, or provides any form of assistance or services, will be subject to defamation as well as imprisonment for up to 15 years, a fine of up to 1 million riyals, and confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for refuge.
She explained that this crime is considered a serious crime that requires arrest and is a violation of honor and trust, and called on people to report any incidents of violation to the number (911) in the areas of Makkah al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh and Sharqiyah, and to the numbers (999) and (996) in other parts of Saudi Arabia.
Joint field operations to monitor and arrest violators of housing, labor, and border security regulations were carried out in all regions of the Kingdom from March 8, 1447 AD (corresponding to January 22, 2026 AD) to August 8, 1447, corresponding to January 28, 2026 AD, and resulted in the following results:
First, the total number of violators arrested during joint security field operations across all Saudi regions amounted to (19,975) violators, including (12,906) immigration status violators, (3,918) border security rule violators, and (3,151) labor regulation violators.
Second, the total number of people arrested attempting to cross the border into Saudi Arabia was (1,716), of which (39%) were Yemeni nationals, (60%) were Ethiopian nationals, and (1%) were from other nationalities. Additionally, (48) people were arrested for attempting to leave the Kingdom by crossing the border in an irregular manner.
Third, (11) individuals were arrested for engaging in the transportation, shelter, or employment of persons who violate housing, labor, or border security regulations, and for concealing violations;
Fourth, the total number of people currently undergoing enforcement proceedings is 23,472 offenders, including men (21,862) and women (1,610).
Fifth: (16,595) violators were referred to overseas embassies to obtain travel documents, (1,820) violators were referred to complete travel reservations, and (14,867) violators were deported.
