Interpol in Morocco defeats leader of European gang smuggling drugs in stolen cars – Saudi News

Yesterday (Monday) evening, Moroccan Interpol officers in the Tangier Security Region succeeded in arresting a 34-year-old French national, considered one of Europe’s most wanted men, pursuant to an international arrest warrant.

Investigation revealed that the detainee is wanted internationally under a Red Notice issued by Interpol and wanted by the French judiciary for his involvement in leading a European criminal network specializing in international drug smuggling in stolen vehicles. The gang he led therefore poses a real threat to European and international security.

According to security information, this man is the leading element within the network, managing and planning smuggling operations that exploit stolen vehicles to transport drugs across borders and throughout Europe, demonstrating a high degree of organization and professionalism in the gang’s operations.

His arrest followed a careful and sustained follow-up by Moroccan security authorities, who were able to locate and monitor him prior to his arrest.

After his arrest, the French authorities were formally informed of the incident in preparation for the procedure to hand him over to trial within the framework of international security cooperation to combat transnational organized crime.

Moroccan Interpol officers from the Tangier Security Service succeeded yesterday (Monday) evening in arresting a 34-year-old French national, who is considered one of Europe’s most wanted men, on an international arrest warrant.

The gang he led poses a real threat to European and international security, as the investigation revealed that the arrested person is on the international run due to a Red Notice issued by Interpol and is wanted by the French judiciary for his involvement in leading a European criminal network specializing in international drug trafficking using stolen vehicles.

According to security intelligence, the man was a key figure in the network, responsible for managing and planning the smuggling operations and exploiting stolen vehicles to transport drugs across borders across Europe, highlighting the high level of organization and professionalism in the gang’s operations.

His arrest followed careful and continuous monitoring by Moroccan security services, who were able to locate and monitor his location prior to his arrest.

Following his arrest, the case was formally notified to the French authorities in preparation for handing over to justice as part of international security cooperation to combat transnational organized crime.
