The Ministry of Education has decided to early identify students who are expected to be absent during Ramadan and actively follow up to strengthen school discipline and effectively invest class time without wasting it. Schools were obliged to strictly adhere to the start and end of the school day according to the approved timetable, but did not neglect to enforce the uniform policy and deal strictly with cases of lateness in the morning.

She also called on teachers to invest every moment in the classroom. The ministry directed the education department not to allow students to leave school before the end of official school hours, except in emergencies, and instructed school administrators to take responsibility for managing student attendance and preventing students from leaving school during classes.

The Ministry of Education has instructed school administrators and all their staff to implement a comprehensive procedural plan for managing the educational process during Ramadan in order to ensure the continuity of learning outcomes and the achievement of educational goals in a manner that takes into account the spirituality of the holy month, to adopt learning schedules that flexibly adapt to the nature of the holy month, and not to relax the implementation of uniform regulations with the need to break stagnation and adopt “active learning” strategies that take into account the physiological fluctuations of students during Ramadan. fasting.

Notice to parents

The Ministry emphasized the need to immediately activate communication channels with parents, send regular notifications including weekly study plans and discipline reports, and immediately monitor any educational or behavioral problems that may arise during the month to ensure a stable and safe educational environment, and direct intervention to address educational problems without escalating the problem.

The Ministry commissioned student activity leaders to connect school activities with the values ​​of the month of Ramadan, implement attractive programs tailored to students’ interests, reinforce the values ​​of responsibility and seriousness in seeking knowledge, study cases of repeated absences and analyze their causes, as well as provide psychological and educational support to students who face difficulties adjusting to learning during fasting.
