The relationship between vitamin D3 and skin cancer! – Saudi Arabia News

A recent scientific report reported by the Medical Xpress website revealed a study that monitored the association between vitamin D3 supplements and a significant reduction in the risk of skin cancer in a group subjected to long-term health follow-up.

The study, which followed thousands of participants over many years, showed that vitamin D3 not only helps support bone health and immunity, but also may have a preventive role in reducing the incidence of skin cancer cells, especially in people who suffer from chronic deficiency of this vitamin. Researchers believe this effect is linked to vitamin D3’s ability to regulate cell division, stimulate cellular repair mechanisms, and reduce chronic inflammation, which is fertile ground for the emergence of tumors.
