Dr. Munira bint Badr Al Mahasir, Director General of the Eastern Province Education Department, congratulated his sons, daughters and students who received awards at the recently held Ebda Science and Technology Exhibition 2026 in Riyadh, organized by the Foundation for Talent and Creativity of King Abdulaziz and his associates, Mawiba, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education.
Dr. Al Mahasir congratulated the students on this great national achievement. She presented this achievement to Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Ruler of the Eastern Region, and Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Ruler of the region, stressing that their continued support had a great impact on motivating male and female students to improve their academic performance.

He emphasized that the Eastern Province Directorate General of Education is keen to provide an extensive map of training and enrichment pathways aimed at raising the academic level of students, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Education, which aims to develop a globally competitive generation of excellence and contribute to the achievement of national aspirations in the light of Saudi Vision 2030.
He added that the participation in the “Ebda” exhibition benefits from these efforts resulting from the partnership with “Mahoiba”, the Foundation for Talent and Creativity of King Abdulaziz and his associates, contributing to enabling students to demonstrate leadership and raise the flag of the Kingdom high among developed countries.
It is worth noting that student Jumana Talal Muhammad Bilal won the Energy and Industry Leadership Track and won the Grand Prix when he participated in the 2026 “Ebdaa” Science and Technology Exhibition. 17 male and female students received grand prizes and 28 received special awards. In addition to awards in the Future Economy category (7), Eastern Education students also won awards in the Sustainable Environment category (23), Leadership and Energy (20), and Human Health (12), bringing the total number of awards earned to (107).
It is noteworthy that qualified students will subsequently represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at numerous international exhibitions held in the United States, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
