Today (Wednesday), the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, took the opportunity of his visit to the country to welcome Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his delegation at his office in the Amiri Diwan.

At the beginning of the interview, Minister of Defense Khalid bin Salman conveyed the greetings of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as well as wishes for the continued health and well-being of the Emir of Qatar and the further progress and prosperity of the Qatari people.
Meanwhile, Emir of Qatar Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud extended his greetings to his brother and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing them and the brotherly Saudi people continued health and well-being.
In the interview, aspects of the close brotherly relationship between the two countries and its strengthening and development were considered, in addition to the development of events in the region and the efforts undertaken in this regard, as well as many topics of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of other ministers and officials.
A large delegation from the Saudi side also attended.
